Race Description
The Lakes TrailFest will take place at the Matanuska Lakes State Recreation Area in Palmer, Alaska on September 28, 2025. This event is designed for trail runners of all skill levels, offering multiple distances to accommodate both seasoned athletes and beginners. Participants are encouraged to bring their families and friends to celebrate a day of outdoor activity and camaraderie.
Registration for the Lakes TrailFest will open on November 4, 2025, and close on September 21, 2025. Runners can choose from distances of 50K, 25K, 10K, 5K, and a Kids 1.5 Mile run, with staggered start times throughout the morning. The event emphasizes a supportive community atmosphere and will reward participants with unique finisher awards.
