Race Description
The FRED Running Relays are set to take place in West Michigan, offering various relay distances including 25, 50, 100, and 200 miles. Teams will gather in Rockford, Michigan, with the relay events commencing on July 11, 2025, ranging from short to ultra distances across scenic trails. Registration is currently open for interested participants who want to take part in this unique team challenge.
The event will kick off with several relay distances starting from different locations. The 25 and 50 mile relays will occur on Saturday morning, while the 100 mile relay begins Friday night. The longest 200 mile relay will start Friday morning, involving a complex team strategy with multiple vehicles assisting the runners. Proceeds from the event will support the West Michigan Trails Organization to help maintain and expand local paved trails.
