Race Description
The Forge Gravel Grinder is set to provide an exciting day of cycling for participants this September. The event features a challenging 26.2 Mile course that will test riders' endurance, with prizes for those who complete it within specific time limits. Additionally, a 10 Mile option is available for those preferring a shorter distance, making the competition accessible to a wider range of cyclists.
Scheduled for September 7, 2025, the race will commence from the Trail entrance at Rt 28/Herreshoff Rd. and conclude at the George T. Hiltebrandt Recreation Center in Old Forge, NY. Participants are encouraged to prepare for varied surface conditions and to bring necessary equipment for potential punctures, as mechanical support will not be provided on course.
