Race Description
The 42nd Annual Forest of Needwood Race is set to take place on March 8, 2025, starting at Saint Mary Catholic Church in Petersville, Maryland. This event, renowned for its scenic 5-mile loop through the historic property known as Forest of Needwood, invites participants to register in person on race day, ensuring an inclusive atmosphere for both seasoned runners and newcomers alike.
As part of the Frederick Steeplechasers Grand Prix, this race honors American hero Jennifer Shafer Odom, who served in the U.S. Army and lost her life in 1999.
