Race Description
The First Horizon Bank Cannonball is the largest running celebration in the Greensboro region, offering various race distances including a Full Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K. Set against the beautiful A & Y greenway in Greensboro, NC, the event promises a festive atmosphere that is open to both seasoned runners and newcomers alike.
Participants can also engage in the Double Barrel Challenge, racing in the Friday night 5K followed by either the 10K, half marathon or marathon on Saturday. This fun-filled event provides runners with exclusive swag, craft beer from local breweries, and includes a post-race celebration with live entertainment. Registration is required two weeks in advance to guarantee a shirt.
