Race Description
The 19th Annual Beaufort River Swim and 5K Run is set to take place on May 17, 2025, offering a choice of swimming distances of 1 mile or 3.2 miles, along with a 5K road race. The event, designed to encourage community participation, supports the Wardle Family YMCA’s Learn to Swim Program, emphasizing the importance of swimming education.
Participants in the Beaufort River Swim can look forward to a scenic route along the Beaufort River, with awards for the top finishers in various categories. The event will take place at the Henry C. Chambers Waterfront Park in Beaufort, SC, with swim check-in beginning early in the morning. Registration for the race closes on May 14, 2025, with no same-day registration offered.
