Race Description
The 2025 Taking Steps for Autism Walk & 5K event is set to take place on April 19, 2025, at the Vanderburgh County 4H Center in Darmstadt, Indiana. This popular community event, sponsored by 14News, aims to raise awareness and funds for autism support in the local area. Registration for the 5K is scheduled to open at 6:30 AM, followed by various activities throughout the day.
Participants can look forward to a full day of activities, including a 5K race, kids dashes, and a family walk. The schedule features the singing of the National Anthem, various awards for race participants, and an Easter Egg hunt. Notably, those registering by April 5 will receive a complimentary t-shirt featuring sponsors. All proceeds from this event will remain within the community to support local autism initiatives.
