Race Description
The Sy-5K event will take place on January 4, 2025, at Rose Rudman Park in Tyler, Texas, to celebrate National Science Fiction Month. Participants can enjoy a family-friendly 5K race and earn an impressive 4-inch light-up medal. No pressure is placed on younger participants with the introduction of a new Kid's Dash, ensuring everyone can experience the excitement of racing safely.
Registration for the event is currently open, and participants will receive a themed t-shirt, as well as being eligible for age group awards. Awards will be given for the top three finishers in various age categories, and special trophies will be presented to the overall male and female winners, along with male and female masters categories.
