Race Description
The Sy-5K is set to take place in Denton, Texas, on January 18, 2025, coinciding with the celebration of National Science Fiction Month. Participants can look forward to a fun-filled, family-friendly 5K run featuring an exciting light-up finisher's medal. This event not only encourages physical activity but also promotes engagement in science fiction culture.
In addition to the 5K, a brand new Kid's Dash will be held for children aged 0-9, allowing them to participate in a short sprint before the main race. Runners in different age categories will have the chance to win additional medals and trophies, making this a memorable event for all ages. Registration is currently open and includes event-themed t-shirts and finisher medals for participants.
