Race Description
The SwimRun NC event, originally scheduled for October 13, 2022, was postponed due to the impact of Hurricane Helene in the Southeast. Organizers have decided to move the race to the Spring of 2025 in order to prioritize safety and provide participants with better chances to secure refunds for travel expenses. Athletes registered for the original date will automatically be transferred to the new date without needing to take any action.
Set in the picturesque Hanging Rock State Park in Danbury, North Carolina, SwimRun NC challenges participants with 16 miles of running and 2 miles of swimming, divided into technical trails and swims. This unique team event requires mandatory wetsuits and features a range of terrains and scenic views, reinforcing the need for teams to navigate challenging conditions. Details regarding the confirmed date and re-opening of registration are expected to be announced soon.
