Race Description
Strokes, Spokes & Strides, a sprint distance triathlon, will take place in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania on June 14, 2025. This event, which aims to foster community spirit, allows participants to compete as individuals or as part of a relay team, encouraging athletes of all levels to get involved, from seasoned triathletes to first-time competitors. The inaugural race was held in 2015 to commemorate the Waynesboro Area YMCA's 100-year anniversary.
Participants will commence the race at the YMCA, where they will swim in its six-lane, 25-meter pool before transitioning to bike and run courses that weave through the picturesque neighborhoods and farmland of Waynesboro. Additionally, the event will feature two more competitive options: Aquavelo (swim/bike) and Duathlon (run/bike/run), providing more ways for athletes to engage with the triathlon community.
