Race Description
The Springfield Township Firecracker 5K Run/Walk and HUSTLE is set to take place on June 28, 2025, honoring the memory of Pvt. Sterling "Butch Rahe". This event is part of the township's popular Freedom Celebration, providing participants the chance to enjoy a new fitness trail at Community Homecoming Park while competing for top prizes. Registration will include options for advance registration as well as day-of registration.
Participants are encouraged to arrive early for the event. Activities will commence at 8:46 am with a welcome session, followed by a warm-up at 8:55 am. Runners will start at 9:00 am, followed by walkers at 9:05 am, and the Hero HUSTLE at 9:35 am. Awards will be presented shortly thereafter at 9:50 am. The event is expected to attract a variety of attendees looking to enjoy a day of fitness and community.
