Race Description
The Spring Sprint 5K & 1-Mile Run/Walk is set to take place on April 12, 2025, at the Springbrook Recreation Center in Alcoa, Tennessee. This event marks the first race of the 2025 Healthy Blount Triple Crown of Running, which also includes the Scholars Run in July and the Reindeer Run in December. Participants can register for both the 5K Run and the 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk, with various awards available for different age categories.
The event aims to support the local community, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting Blount County's Special Olympics program and the Leon Berrong Scholarship Fund. Runners are encouraged to check-in between 7:15 and 8:00 AM on race day, with the 5K Run scheduled to start at 8:30 AM.
