Race Description
The Splash & Dash - TRI Clear Lake Triathlon is set to take place on May 23, 2025, in Clear Lake, Iowa. This participatory event is designed for children aged 7-15 and combines swimming and running, fostering a fun family-oriented atmosphere centered around multisport fitness. Participants will receive a finisher medal and the chance to race alongside adult competitors, highlighting the communal spirit of the event.
The event will feature a structured course with age-appropriate distances: younger participants (ages 7-10) will swim 100 meters and run 1 kilometer, while older participants (ages 11-15) will swim 200 meters and run 2 kilometers. Safety is a priority, with lifeguards and volunteers on-site to ensure a safe experience for all athletes. Packet pick-up is scheduled for the afternoon prior to the race, enhancing organization for this anticipated event.
