Race Description
The Spartanburg Run for Babies 5k is set to take place on March 29, 2025, at Duncan Park in Spartanburg, South Carolina. This annual event is organized to benefit the March of Dimes and raise awareness for maternal and infant health. The race will commence with a Superhero Sprint for kids at 8:40 AM, followed by the main 5k run/walk starting at 9:00 AM.
Participants can look forward to a lively atmosphere, with children receiving superhero capes and a stroller decorating area available. Awards will be given to the top three finishers in each age group, and discounts are available for children under 12. The event aims to mobilize community support to improve health outcomes for mothers and babies, addressing pressing issues such as premature births and maternal health.
