Race Description
The Southern Lights Stroll 5K is set to take place on Saturday, November 23rd, 2024, at the Kentucky Horse Park. This family-friendly event is designed to kick off the holiday season and will feature a competitive 5K race starting at 6:00 PM and an untimed stroll beginning at 6:15 PM. Participants are encouraged to check in and be on course no later than 8:00 PM, ensuring everyone has ample time to enjoy the festive atmosphere.
In addition to the race, attendees can look forward to a Holiday Village featuring various vendors, activities, and a chance to see holiday lights from a unique perspective. Early packet pickup will be available from November 20th to November 22nd at the Visitor Information Center, with additional pickup on race day. Registration is currently open, and shirts are limited to the first 2000 registered adults. Children aged 12 and under can participate for free.
