Race Description
The SMHS Makin' Hay 10K & 5K returns on Saturday, April 19, 2025, inviting runners to race through the picturesque scenery of Frederick County. Participants will traverse scenic rolling courses featuring beautiful farmland, Catoctin Creek, and historic wooden deck bridges as they aim for personal bests and age group awards.
With bib pickup starting at 7:00 AM, runners are reminded to plan their arrival as late starts are not permitted. The event promises custom finisher's medals for the in-person 5K and 10K participants, alongside age group awards and special recognition for a standout middle-pack finisher in the 10K. Registration is currently open, but virtual participation is not an option.
