Race Description
The ShortcaKe 4K is set to take place on June 14, 2025, at 10:00 AM in Clay, New York. Organized by Northside Collision, this spirited run/walk invites participants to enjoy a mid-June morning filled with good cheer, followed by a festival celebrating the event's conclusion. All runners will receive a free strawberry shortcake for their efforts and custom finisher medals will be awarded.
The event will also benefit Sunshine Horses, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating retired racehorses. With awards for overall, masters, and age group winners, the ShortcaKe 4K is an excellent opportunity for families, especially younger runners, to engage in a fun and rewarding experience. The first 250 registrants will receive a custom race shirt, emphasizing the community spirit of this event.
