Race Description
Preparations are in full swing for the 2025 running of the Shenandoah Epic Adventure Race, which will take place on April 12, 2025, in Bentonville, Virginia. This 24-hour adventure race, now in its 14th year, welcomes both seasoned and novice adventure racers, with registration opening on October 1, 2024.
The Shenandoah Epic is recognized as one of the longest-running 24-hour events on the East Coast, typically attracting 300 participants. Race Director Mark Harris announced that in 2025, the course will remain open for 30 hours, giving teams ample time to navigate the Shenandoah Valley and Massanutten Mountain Range. This year's changes aim to enhance the race experience by allowing all teams to complete the entire course, a departure from the traditional elective checkpoints in US racing.
