Race Description
The Selfless Elf 5K, now in its 12th year, will take place on December 21, 2024, at the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank's Main Campus in Akron, Ohio. This festive running/walking event aims to benefit the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank and raise funds for those struggling with hunger in the community.
Participants can choose between running and competitive walking categories, with chip-timing available to ensure accurate results. The event promotes a family-friendly atmosphere, encourages festive costumes, and provides participants with long-sleeve t-shirts and striped elf socks. Notably, this year's race does not offer a virtual option, and it is a dog-free event.
