Race Description
The North Carolina Azalea Festival Seahawk Sun Run is set to take place on Sunday, February 15, 2025, at UNCW in Wilmington, NC. This event will feature a timed 5K run and a 1-Mile fun run/walk, inviting both alumni and the local community to participate in a celebration of homecoming and camaraderie.
As part of the Azalea Festival, the Seahawk Sun Run also aims to support various charitable organizations, including proceeds going towards the North Carolina Azalea Festival and the paws4people initiative that trains assistance dogs. Participants can look forward to a vibrant event filled with community spirit, volunteer support, and a beautiful running route along the Longleaf Trail.
