Race Description
The Scion's Hope Legacy 5K Marathon will take place on October 18, 2025, in Lancaster, Texas. This event is dedicated to honoring those who have fought against cancer and aims to bring community members together to celebrate survivors and remember loved ones lost to the disease.
Proceeds from the marathon will support research into safer cancer treatments, moving beyond traditional chemotherapy methods. The race is also in memory of Dorcas (Tabitha) Awolumate, and is an opportunity for participants to contribute meaningfully while participating in a collective effort to improve cancer care.
