Race Description
The 2nd Annual "Running for Africa 2024" event will take place on December 7th, 2024, at the Jack Allen Soccer Complex in Decatur, Alabama. This event features a 7K, a 5K, and a 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk, with proceeds benefiting the non-profit organization Archangel Group International, which aims to combat poverty and human trafficking in Africa.
Participants can register online, with early registration fees set at $30 for the 7K and 5K, and $25 for the 1-Mile Fun Run up until race day. The event promises various age brackets for competitors, with trophies awarded for overall winners. Early registrants will also receive a free shirt and swag bag, and packet pickup will be available on the day prior to the race and on race day itself.
