Race Description
The Runnin' To The Rig 5k Run/Walk is set to take place on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at Bakersfield High School. Participants will gather for a shotgun start at 8:30 AM, with check-in beginning at 7:30 AM. This inaugural event aims to raise funds and foster community spirit through a nostalgic run around the historic campus, culminating near the iconic football tunnel in Griffith Stadium.
Participants who pre-register by January 12th will receive a complimentary T-shirt, and medals will be awarded to the first 1,000 finishers. Following the race, attendees can enjoy food from vendors, explore club activities, and delve into the school’s archives.
