Race Description
The upcoming event, 'Run to Remember: In Honor of Our Beloved Pets,' is scheduled for April 13, 2025, at Hammonasset Beach State Park in Madison, Connecticut. Participants can choose between a 5k race and a 2-mile walk, with the event focusing on commemorating cherished pets. Attendees are encouraged to bring photos of their pets to display during the race.
This family-friendly event features a flat course ideal for runners and walkers alike. The first 175 registrants will receive guaranteed T-shirts, and there will be awards, snacks, and water available. Additionally, all proceeds from the race will benefit the Dan Cosgrove Animal Shelter in Branford, Connecticut, making this not only a day of remembrance but also a way to support local animal welfare.
