Race Description
The Run the Runway event returns for its tenth year at Chicago Executive Airport in Wheeling, Illinois, scheduled for Saturday, June 28, 2025, at 8:00 AM. This family-friendly event includes a USATF-certified 5K run, a 1-mile walk, and a Kids Dash on the airport's main runway.
Participants are encouraged to register early, as registration opens on January 1, 2025, and those who register before May 2, 2025, will be guaranteed a commemorative shirt. Strollers and wagons are welcome, but pets are not allowed, and the event will feature podium awards, music, food, and kids' activities following the races.
