Race Description
The 2025 Run the Runway 5K is set to take place at the Wausau Downtown Airport in Wausau, WI, starting at 8:00 AM on June 28, 2025. This annual event will have participants running along the airport's runway and through the Wings Over Wausau event grounds, offering a unique running experience with scenic views and planes in sight.
Hosted by Wausau Events, this year's race aims to support the Never Forgotten Honor Flight, raising funds to honor veterans with a trip to their memorials in Washington D.C. Participants can register for the race at an early bird price of $35, with the opportunity to receive a race t-shirt and other goodies. Awards will be given to top finishers in various age categories.
