Race Description
The Run Manatee 5K event is set to take place on November 22, 2025, at Rye Preserve in Parrish, Florida. This inaugural run aims to bring the community together, allowing participants to explore the scenic trails of Manatee County’s parks on a mixed terrain 5K course. With a mixture of ecosystems to showcase, runners may encounter various wildlife, including the rare gopher tortoise and Florida scrub-jay, while enjoying the natural beauty of the area.
Participants of all ages and activity levels are invited to join the fitness festivities, which include a warm-up session and yoga cooldown led by local fitness experts. The event, which also features a marketplace with local vendors and healthy food options, promotes active living and supports local non-profits. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Foundation for Dreams, which operates Dream Oaks Camp within Rye Preserve.
