Race Description
The Highland Park Recreation Department is set to host its 15th annual "Run in the Park" 5K race on Sunday, May 4, 2025. Participants will enjoy a scenic run through the downtown and picturesque neighborhoods of Highland Park, NJ, all to support the local public school system. Proceeds from this community event will benefit the Highland Park Public Schools PTOs.
The 5K race features a course that is closed to traffic, starting on North 5th Ave by the high school and heading downhill towards New Brunswick, ensuring a fast first mile. Following the 5K, kids' races will be held at approximately 10 AM on the high school track. Registration fees vary, starting at $30 before March 18 and increasing as the event date approaches.
