Race Description
The Run for the Zoo is set to return for its 47th year in Chicago, inviting runners of all levels to participate on June 1, 2025. More than four decades of this event have seen athletes raising funds for the Lincoln Park Zoo, with various courses and activities catering to both serious competitors and families alike.
Participants can choose from chip-timed 5K and 10K courses, which are U.S.A. Track & Field-certified, while families can enjoy a fun run or walk. Children can tackle the Kids' Course, featuring an exciting obstacle course that promises to engage and entertain young athletes. The scenic race route offers stunning views of Chicago's skyline and the lake, amidst the lively environment of the zoo.
