Race Description
The Light of the World Academy invites runners of all ages to participate in the upcoming RUN FOR THE GOLD 5K and Kids Fun Run scheduled for Saturday, March 15th, 2025. This popular event is part of Pinckney’s St. Patrick’s Day Celebration and typically attracts between 300 to 650 participants annually, depending on weather conditions.
Participants in the 5K will compete on a diverse course that includes Michigan's country dirt roads, paved trails, and downtown Pinckney streets. The event features awards for top finishers in various age categories and a special dog tag necklace for Kids Fun Run participants. Registration fees vary, with options available until race day, and the event is professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation.
