Race Description
The 'Run for Jovie' is a community-driven 5K run/walk event scheduled for October 26, 2024, in West Greenwich, Rhode Island. This event aims to raise funds for Jovie, the newest member of the Coventry Police Department, who is being trained as a compassion dog and to help find missing children.
Participants are encouraged to bring their furry friends along for the run, fostering a fun and inclusive atmosphere. This event is organized by the Coventry/West Greenwich ELKS and aims to support the important work being done by Jovie and her handler, Officer Jadine Ferri, at Coventry Middle School.
