Race Description
The Run For It! Tour of Davis, WV, is an engaging community event developed by the Tucker Community Foundation, aimed at promoting healthy activities while supporting local non-profit organizations. Participants can join various teams to fundraise for causes such as the arts, animal welfare, and youth organizations during the annual event scheduled for September 28, 2024, in conjunction with the Leaf Peeper's Festival.
The event features a 2k walk and a 5k run, providing an opportunity for community members to contribute to causes they care about. With half of the entry fee supporting chosen charities and additional donations from sponsors contributing to team causes, the Run For It program fosters a spirit of philanthropy and community engagement while encouraging a healthier lifestyle.
