Race Description
The Run for Freedom 5K & Fun Run, organized by The Bridge 2 Home, is set to take place on October 12, 2024, in Aiken, South Carolina. This annual event aims to raise awareness and support for girls who have fallen victim to sex trafficking by providing them with a safe haven to heal and recover.
Participants can register for a 5K race or a 1-mile fun run, with strollers and wheelchairs encouraged but bicycles and skates prohibited. The event includes prizes for top finishers in various age categories, a fundraising team competition, and entertainment such as music and games for all attendees. Standard registration is $35 before September 25, 2024, increasing to $40 thereafter.
