Race Description
The East Lake Foundation will host the Run for East Lake 5K & Fun Run on Saturday, August 2nd, 2025. The event, presented by the East Lake Family YMCA, features a 5K race that starts and finishes at the Charles R. Drew Charter School. Participants will run through the scenic East Lake community, which includes the Villages of East Lake and the historic East Lake Golf Club, the venue for the upcoming TOUR Championship in 2025.
In addition to the 5K race, there will be a 400-meter Fun Run open to all ages, taking place on the Charles R. Drew Charter School track. The East Lake Foundation aims to promote community revitalization and equitable access to resources, making the event not only a race but also a platform to highlight their ongoing efforts to support the community's growth and well-being.
