Race Description
Mansfield, Texas, is set to host the 2nd Annual Run for a Cure 5K on October 5, 2024. This pink-themed event aims to celebrate cancer survivors, their families, and the strong community support they receive during their treatment journey. Registration for the event is currently open, inviting participants to join in the mission to promote awareness and fundraise for cancer survivorship programs.
The event will take place at Texas Health Hospital Mansfield, and participants can look forward to several engaging features including awards for top finishers and a complimentary race shirt for the first 500 registrants. Additionally, proceeds will support the Livestrong at the YMCA program, which helps adult cancer survivors regain their strength through customized exercises, ensuring they receive community support through their recovery.
