Race Description
The Ruidoso Grindstone Trail Runs are set to take place on August 23, 2025, featuring three distances: a 13.8-mile half marathon, an 8.5-mile run, and a 4-mile run. The event will start and finish at Wingfield Park located in downtown Ruidoso, New Mexico, with the first race starting at 7:00 AM.
This annual event, which began in 2014, is organized with the support of various local sponsors, the Village of Ruidoso, Lincoln County, and the US Forest Service. Proceeds from the event will be donated to the All-Season Adaptive Sports program, which has received over $50,000 in donations in the past decade. Runners can look forward to commemorative merchandise and a post-race celebration following the races.
