Race Description
The Rowyn’s Light Annual 5K will take place on November 16, 2024, in Charlottesville, Virginia. This event is organized in memory of Rowyn Wood, who tragically lost her life in 2020, and aims to celebrate her life and legacy on what would have been her Sweet 16 birthday.
Participants in the 5K will support a charitable cause, as proceeds will be donated to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP). The event not only highlights the importance of community but also honors Rowyn’s story and promotes awareness about mental health issues.
