Race Description
The 4th Annual Rootrock Trail Run at Briar Chapel is set to take place on October 19, 2024. Participants will have the option to choose from 5K, 10K, or Half Marathon distances, all on scenic single-track trails. This event offers runners a chance to enjoy the beautiful outdoor setting while competing in a popular mid-fall trail run, followed by the inaugural Rootrock Mountain Bike Race in the afternoon.
Located in Chapel Hill, NC, Briar Chapel features a sprawling 900-acre green community with extensive hiking and biking trails. After completing the races, participants can look forward to a festive atmosphere filled with post-race food, live music, a kids' treasure hunt, and an awards ceremony with numerous giveaways, enhancing the sense of community and celebration around this exciting day of competition.
