Race Description
The Rockford 70.3 Preview Ride is set to take place on Saturday, October 12, 2024, in Rockford, Illinois. This organized group ride offers participants a unique opportunity to preview the bike course for the upcoming Ironman 70.3 event. The ride will start and finish at the transition area at Davis Park/Embassy Suites with a planned start time of 10:00 AM.
Participants are encouraged to ride at their own pace while enjoying a supportive social atmosphere. The event will feature traffic control provided by the Winnebago County Sheriff, ensuring safety during the ride, although the route remains open to normal traffic. Registration is now open, covering the costs of necessary escorts and support throughout the ride.
