Race Description
The Rock the Beat 5k is set to take place on September 21, 2024, at the Dismal Swamp Canal Trail in Chesapeake, Virginia. This annual event aims to raise awareness and funds for congenital heart defects (CHD) through the efforts of Mended Little Hearts of Coastal Virginia, a non-profit organization supporting families affected by CHD.
Participants can look forward to a day filled with food, fun, and competitions, as the event also includes a Kids’ 1 Mile run. This community gathering, which emphasizes the importance of supporting families living with CHD, encourages attendees to run, walk, volunteer, or donate to help improve the quality of life for those affected by heart defects.
