Race Description
The Rocky Mountain Road Runners are set to host their monthly Trophy Series race in Aurora, Colorado, on October 6, 2024. This event allows participants of all levels to join in a relaxed, low-cost racing atmosphere. Runners will compete on an 8-mile course using a handicap start system, encouraging a wide range of competitors to have a fair opportunity at victory.
The 8-mile race will begin at 8:30 AM, with 5k participants starting approximately 15 minutes later. This year's October race will take place at Star K Ranch, along the dirt path of Sand Creek, which features an out-and-back course with slight elevation changes. Registration is currently open, and runners are encouraged to arrive early to prepare for the event.
