Race Description
The River Hills Run, featuring a challenging 5K race and a 1 Mile Fun Run, is set to take place on November 16, 2024, at River Hills Retreat in Hayden, Alabama. This off-road course not only tests seasoned runners but also offers beautiful scenic views along the Locust Fork of the Black Warrior River, making it an enjoyable experience for participants of all abilities.
Registration is currently open and participants are encouraged to sign up before October 27 to ensure they receive a race shirt. With a focus on health and community involvement, the event supports a Christian retreat aimed at glorifying God. The 5K has early registration fees of $30 and raceday registration fees of $35, while the 1 Mile Fun Run costs $20 for regular registration and $25 on race day.
