Race Description
The Carolina Strive RISE UP! Run Over Cancer 5K is scheduled for October 5, 2024, in Rocky Mount, NC. This city-wide event aims to raise funds for local cancer research and the Coach Michael J. Wright Sr. Scholarship Program. Participants can enjoy a 1K Fun Run starting at 8:00am, followed by the 5K race at 8:30am.
The event will feature a scenic course highlighting iconic landmarks and parks in Rocky Mount. Participants can expect awards in multiple age categories, along with drawstring bags, hand towels, and wristbands as keepsakes. Early registration is available until September 20 for $25, and all donations made are tax deductible, supporting the organization's mission to help youth development.
