Race Description
The Redding Breakfast Lions Turtle Bay Run is set to take place on October 6, 2024, featuring a half marathon, a 10K, and a 2-mile run/walk. Participants will experience scenic views along the Sacramento River, crossing notable landmarks including the Sundial Bridge and the Diestel Horst Bridge. This family-friendly event caters to runners of all ages and abilities.
In addition to the diverse distances, this year's race will feature age divisions for winners at intervals of five years, starting from under 15 years old. Electronic timing will be utilized for accurate and efficient tracking, a feature that was well-received in previous years. Runners are encouraged to register early, as those signing up after August 28, 2024, may not receive a race shirt.
