Race Description
The Reason for the Season Run is set to take place on Saturday, November 30, 2024, in DeMotte, Indiana. This annual 5K run and walk is a beloved Thanksgiving weekend tradition that welcomes participants of all ages and abilities, with registration opening at 7:30 a.m. and the race starting promptly at 8:30 a.m.
Participants will receive a race packet that includes a festive long sleeve tech shirt, and will have the opportunity to enjoy refreshments post-race, including donuts. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Backpack Program for students of KVSC, which provides nutritious food for children in need during weekends. Interested runners are encouraged to register early to secure their t-shirt before the price increase on November 17.
