Race Description
The 18th Annual Read Feed Run Turkey Trot is set to take place on Thanksgiving morning, November 28, 2024, at Ginty Field in Morristown, NJ. This community event aims to support the Literacy Volunteers of Morris County and the Interfaith Food Pantry Network, promoting literacy and providing food assistance to local residents in need.
Participants can look forward to a festive atmosphere with scheduled activities including a 5K run, a 1-mile fun walk/run, and a kids' trot for children aged 12 and under. The event will kick off with packet pick-up at 7:00 a.m., followed by the main race at 8:30 a.m., and will conclude with an awards ceremony at 9:30 a.m. This yearly tradition not only encourages fitness but also fosters community spirit and support for local charitable initiatives.
