Race Description
On June 7, 2025, runners from across the United States will gather in Rainsville, Alabama to celebrate the 17th anniversary of the Rainsville Freedom Run 10K and 5K, an event touted as "The Best Small Race in America." This popular race welcomes participants of all ages, commencing at the DeKalb County Schools Coliseum located at 1504 Main St E.
The event features the largest overall prize fund to date, with generous cash prizes awarded to the top finishers in both the 10K and 5K races. Additionally, participants will have the chance to win numerous door prizes, including a grand prize worth $1,000. Proceeds from the Freedom Run will be reinvested back into the community to support local charities, making this event not just a race but a celebration of community spirit.
