Race Description
The Race the Runway 5.02K is set to take place on November 16, 2024, in Louisville, Kentucky. Kick-off activities will commence at 8 a.m. with light snacks and refreshments available for participants, along with vendor and sponsor booths. Runners and walkers will begin the race at 9 a.m., with part of the course notably utilizing the Bowman Field runway, providing a unique backdrop surrounded by aircraft.
This event marks the conclusion of the Planet Fitness Mayorthon Race Series, with participants who have completed the entire series receiving a Mayorthon Challenge Coin during a special ceremony hosted by Mayor Craig Greenberg. The race will feature professional chip-timing and all participants will receive a commemorative long-sleeve shirt and custom finisher medal. Packet pick-up is scheduled for November 15, offering both early and race-day options.
