Race Description
The upcoming "Race the Dead" will take place on October 25, 2024, in Towanda, Illinois, starting at sundown. The fun run invites participants to dress in costumes and enjoy a flat 5K course along the historic Dead Route 66, running past the famous Towanda cemetery. The event is not officially timed, but a clock will be present at the finish line to check the runners' completion times.
Registration for the race opens on September 3 and will remain active until October 24, with special pricing options for those who prefer a race shirt.
